Following an intensive interview process, residents and staff at Thistleknowe are pleased to welcome to the home Karen McIntosh who has been appointed as the new Manager.
Karens biggest achievement:
Raising four children on her own whilst studying for a degree in Nursing.

How did you first get into management?
I applied for a staff nurse position in a care home and was offered the position of deputy manager. Six weeks later I was offered the managers position.
